Personal and valuable objects
The center cannot be responsible for valuable objects or money you bring with you. We advise you to give them to your family or to place them in the hospital safe. The nursing staff will inform you how to do this. If you wear dentures, glasses , etc., be careful not to lose them, as they are indispensable for your daily life.

Smoking
Smoking is forbidden except in specifically marked areas.

Discharge
Your doctor will give you discharge orders well in advance. The room must be vacated by 12 noon so we can prepare it for another patient. When you leave the hospital, you will receive the discharge report. After that, you need to go to Admissions to receive information about the cost of your stay.

Visitors
Visiting hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., except for some specific units. To guarantee security at night, the main doors to the Taulí Building will be locked and access is via the Emergency Department. |

Two visitors per patient are authorized for Intensive Care patients. During the night only one visitor can accompany the patient. One person can accompany each child in the Pediatrics department 24 hours a day, except in Intensive Care and Neonatology. |

Information about a patient's condition
Reports are made daily except on weekends and holidays, and whenever there has been an important change in the patient's evolution. The care team in the unit will inform you of the usual timetable for this information. This information is confidential and cannot be given out over the phone |

Food
In order to guarantee appropriate nutrition, we ask you to eat only the food prescribed to you by your physician and served by the hospital kitchen. For reasons of hygiene, we ask you not to keep food in your room. The hospital has a dietary protocol to meet the needs of different patients.

If you have special needs, you can contact the dietary service. The nurses on your unit can put you in contact with them if necessary. There is a café and restaurant available for visitors just outside the building.

Voluntary donation
Our society needs blood for transfusions and organs for transplants and voluntary donations are the only way to meet these needs. Please tell family and friends about the possibility of making a contribution to the treatment of many patients by becoming a donor. |
Our center is accredited for the extraction of organs for transplantation. If you would like more information about this subject, speak to you doctor. A Register is available for patients and family around the clock to document yur desire to become a donor. |

Confidentiality
The CPT and its different Centers have personal data that you have confided. These data are subject to the protection of confidentiality in accordance with the Llei Orgànica 15/99 de Protecció de Dades de Caràcter Personal, and also by the institutional regulations about confidentiality. |
The use of these data is restricted to those professionals that need them. You can exercise your right to access, rectify, cancel, or oppose them in the terms stipulated in the current legislation. The Customer Service Department will be happy to receive your complaints, suggestions, or thanks to help us to improve the quality of our services. Your nurse will help you contact them. They can inform you of your rights and duties as a patient. |

The Social Work Unit is at your service to help you to solve social problems caused by hospitalization. Your nurses will put you in contact with them if you so desire |

Religious services
Catholic religious services and prayer room are available. Mass is held daily at 10:30 a.m. in the Albada building and Sundays at 12 noon in the Auditorium of the Taulí Building . Should you require the assistance of a minister of another religion, do not hesitate to inform your nurse |
